I officially retired several years ago, but I have consistently been called on to do part time consulting work. I keep saying I am ready to be done, but when one job ends, I find myself looking for the next opportunity. There is a level of purpose and accomplishment that comes with work that I haven’t been able to find in other endeavors, and frankly, I am not sure where to look.
